| The candidates advanced to a June runoff in the special election in California's 22nd Congressional District to replace Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), the Associated Press reported. Nunes resigned from Congress in January to take over the Trump Media and Technology Group, and the winner of the June 7 runoff will only fill out the remainder of his term until the end of 2022. This will be the last election under the 22nd District's current lines. Voters will choose candidates in new districts starting in June. |
